Mobility Design Lab

Exhibition Design
2023

In fall 2022 I’ve written a paper on the design characteristics of current electrical vehicles and how these are tied to science fiction. In order to communicate the core message of my findings, I developed a moveable exhibition booth. It’s meant to be set up in places of public transportation—what better place to pose the question of future (auto)mobility. In its center the booth invites people to take part in a creative brief on how they imagine mobility concepts of tomorrow. This exhibition is the second part of my theoretical work, aiming to find out whether people’s view of future vehicles still revolves around the idea of individual mobility and the design conventions we know from traditional combustion cars.
