“Wesley” is a typeface family with variable ascenders/caps-height and variable weight, inspired by Wes Anderson’s movies. Anderson’s visual style and hyper-graphic scenography have inspired me for quite some time. The typeface features elements of geometric and humanistic sans serif fonts, as well as historical signage and printed matter. Taking a deep dive into graphical nostalgia, I Riso-printed and handcrafted graphics and packaging, to push the notion of what the presentation and specimen of a typeface can look like.
